50+ specimens of Mosasaurus lemonnieri were found in Ciply-Malogne Phosphatic Chalk Formation in Hainaut, Belgium 1880s. They have now been thoroughly redescribed, with one specimen a new species - Thoraxion tahlequahae!

Result from the fifth Lemuria stream! In this we covered the fauna and flora of the deltas. These in-between habitats house a wide array of critters that go in and out of water and in and out of the sea. Giant carps and algae munching simosuchids are a common sight.

Here the result of the coastal Lemuria piece! Penguins, plotopterids and whales pile of the shores of Lemuria which is increasingly rocky on the northern shore thanks to the subduction up here. Many of the cliffs here are reddish in color due to the red corals that were common...

The Ordovician episode of Surviving Earth aired tonight and while only on screen for a few seconds I did recognize my favorite animal to make concept art of: Phacops. While it is one of the most common trilobites ever I had such a blast painting this little guy!
