The poor girl involved in this case must feel wretched.
Katie Price is an abhorrent monster. I wish the press would stop courting the creature because she’s a dangerous, toxic mess. I hope her youngest two kids have gained stability and peace in their lives now. 🙏
Women make up two-thirds of the Unison membership. That's around a million female members. And their general secretary wants to trash their hard-won sex-based rights to indulge the feelings of a small number of men. Utterly inexcusable.
It's great that the BBC are doing a documentary to expose what an evil bigot JK Rowling is, but I do worry that they might mess it up and accidentally reveal that her 'extreme' views are the same views held by every sane adult ever born.
In the Second World War Marseille was a key sanctuary and escape point for thousands of Jews.
At the weekend Jewish-owned shops in Marseille’s were torched and looted.
The difference? Today 30% of the city is Muslim.
Are some people seriously contemplating voting Tory again? Have they lost their minds? Do they not remember the years 2010-2024 - the economic stagnation, the housing crisis, the immigration shambles, the deepening 'wokeification' of our institutions and society, the mad green zealotry, the sacrificing of our energy security? Does all that get forgotten because Kemi Badenoch can turn a decent phrase? The Tories deserve to die a slow death. They should certainly never get anywhere near power again for a good many years.
Irish chick lit author withdraws her books from sale in the UK to draw attention to her support for a proscribed terrorist group and as a direct result we discover the wife of the UK’s national security adviser supports the same proscribed terrorist group. It’s quite a story!
Maybe MI5 should try putting this threat the other way round:
Why isn’t the state more worried about the risk to British people posed by undocumented asylum seekers?
Sick of government demonising the population who have voted against this madness.
Exclusive:
Some 1.8 million sickness benefit claimants are overdue the reassessment to see if they still qualify.
Average delay: two years.
Longest delay: 16 years.
It’s the first finding of The Times Welfare Inquiry, which launches tomorrow

Yasser Arafat was an Egyptian. The palestine liberation organisation was invented by the Soviets in 1964 as part of the Cold War. As America supported Israel the USSR backed its enemies.
But Russia has always been deeply antisemitic. It’s something the Tsars had in common with the Bolsheviks.
“You will never, ever know what a lovely country this was,” wrote Geoffrey Prater, a Second World War veteran, in 2006. In a letter to journalist Nicholas Pringle, he recalled how his brother was killed by a parachute mine while fire-watching in Stratford in October 1940; how he himself served in North Africa and Italy with the Royal Tank Regiment; and how, in late 1944, his mother wrote to tell him that a V1 had destroyed their home and everything in it.
Six decades later, he looked back on what they had sacrificed. “I am not going to comment on our country today,” he wrote, declaring his love for Queen and country. His letter ended simply: “Was it all worth it? No.”
Prater was not alone. Last November, 100-year-old Royal Navy veteran Alec Penstone told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “I can see in my mind’s eye those rows and rows of white stones.” He recalled the hundreds of friends who had given their lives. “For what? The country of today? No, I’m sorry. The sacrifice wasn’t worth the result that it is now.”
Penstone, who died in May, seemed to bewilder ITV host Kate Garraway, who patronisingly offered an “Oh, I’m sorry” in the tone one might use to console a child who had lost a game of football.
Garraway’s co-host Adil Ray was downright rude, abruptly demanding: “What do you mean by that though?”
To answer that question, I have produced a documentary featuring the generation who remember Britain before mass immigration, exploring how the country has transformed within a single lifetime.

Bail for Immigration Detainees dreams “of a world free of immigration detention, where people are not deprived of their liberty or deported from their home.”
It is one of a number of charities that has had funding from the National Lottery:
