As a trainee led conference we also have a focus on professional development! Our first career panelist is Dr. Cathryn Nagler, PhD. @CathyNagler is a UChicago Professor as well as co-founder of @ClostraBio a company focused on the role of the gut (and microbes) in chronic disease
Our 2nd keynote speaker for FiLMS 2024 is Dr. Renuka Nayak, MD, PhD! Dr. Nayak is dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with rheumatologic conditions. She uses a combination of patient specimens and gnotobiotic mice to study how the microbiome influences health/disease!
Our first Keynote speaker for FiLMS24 is Noah Palm, PhD! Dr. Palm is an Associate Professor of Immunobiology at the Yale University School of Medicine. His lab focuses on the interactions between the immune system and the gut microbiota in health/disease! Register for FiLMS now!
