Remembering Gene Tierney, born in Brooklyn on today's date in 1920. Tierney was in several noirs, including Laura, Leave Her to Heaven, Night and the City, and Where the Sidewalk Ends. What's your favorite Gene Tierney film? #Noirvember

[Amanda @aschulze2001]

For #Noirvember I'm highlighting a woman of #FilmNoir each day. She might be a lounge singer, hash slinger, a hard-working gal, in prison, or working the streets. There's likely a murder & she may or may not have pulled the trigger. I look forward to sharing #FemmesOfFilmNoir

I'm extremely upset as I write this but I am so sorry to tell you that Olivia de Havilland, one of the last major stars of Classic Hollywood, has died at the age of 104. A life well lived but still very, very sad news. RIP Olivia, you beautiful lady ❤❤❤❤
