Painful to read. We don't know the story from the inside. But from the outside - fan/player pov - reading about Leadership at Bungie paying themselves (see: syphoning) Tens+++ of Millions of dollars to themselves, is absolutely crazy.

And @LlamaOnD2 just dropped a "What to Farm" video, going over a solid base of weapons to hunt for, and how to do so, as well.

An "easy" suggestion is to just play the Campaigns in the order that is available. If you care about story/unlocks (Stasis, Strand, Prismatic, etc)

Or the sheer volume of "stuff" to do, to just level up and find cool weapons & armor, is also there.

@MightyKeef the Destiny 2 LFG is probably a safe bet.

There are couple other creators that have an active (probably moreso now) community that posts & tries to form up groups outside the game. When ingame Fireteam Finder doesn't work too well.

@Aztecross & @LlamaOnD2 are my go to.

@PaulTassi I do wonder into this "Cruel Math" and how much of that is C-Suite taking absolutely gigantic payouts, instead of investing into the company/game that made them what they were in the first place.

I've seen (& signed) the petition going around. But I think the much more powerful response if you're hoping for some kind of future for the franchise is:
Log on the week of June 9th.

Dont' get me wrong, Sony execs aren't gonna fall to their knees in tears and insta-green-light D3 or anything. But seeing SO many players out there logging on to give one last hurrah to the franchise that meant so much to them - it'll speak volumes in its own way.

At the very least, we'll have one more window of fun enjoying the last batch of new content in a game that meant so much to us. At best, it'll show how passionate the community still is, and just how badly so many of us want SOME kind of future for this franchise, no matter how long it might take to build.

I'll see you out there in June. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.
