A 7.7% Y/Y CPI is 277.948 to 299.35 requiring M/M headline of only +0.5%.
Forecast: Core M/M and Headline to be +0.5% with shelter leading advances and largest decliner to be medical sending headline Y/Y to 7.7% far past expectations. $SPY limit down #CPI#CPIdata#CPIInflation
@AboveAverageA@Nappyfro75@TheRock In other words, profitable yes, but not box office profitable. It most certainly underperformed expectations but likely performed well enough for a sequel and continued character development.
@AboveAverageA@Nappyfro75@TheRock Huh? 387 (box office) / 2 (50% stays with theaters) - (195 (production costs) + 100 (marketing costs)) = -$101.5M. Adding in all the home entertainment + streaming revenue though from Deadline (86+27+17+36+40) = Net $104.5M - $43M (home entertainment costs) = Net $61.5M.
@BrettRoche5@NihadVatres@unusual_whales cause Fed would stop raising rates and would instead slash rates back to 0 and start mother of all QE again to pay for war... all about Fed policy
@goldtelegraph Yes, soft landing is quite out of the picture. Rates should have started rising in 2021. Alas, to go slower though is an even greater risk as inflation will continue to rise and hinder the economy.
@HappyCamper140 @BigBullCap@ProblemSniper Same, I'm just hoping it waits until I can get more cash to buy. If this occurred, might have to even take a 2nd mortgage against my house to load up on these two.
@ProblemSniper Oh snap, that breaks that key 72.50 support - definitely good entry though. Its valuation is already sexy with their growth opportunity and excellent execution.
@RandPaul It is for this reason at least, Congress should have term limits. If folks weren't trying to hold onto their seat until they croak, then, elected officials would be motivated to actually do the right thing for their constituents rather than the right thing for themselves.
@RandPaul There are 2 ways to solve it - reduce spending and/or increase revenue. People, esp. politicians, don't like either b/c being responsible doesn't win elections - handouts do. Regardless of who is to blame, we all are accountable to the solution. Don't let it go. #InflationCrisis
Got $PFE wrong though was able to exit short on morning dip. I’m surprised there was ever any question on $AMD. Solid ER report, solid valuation, and correction to the sell-side analysts, “there will be no plateau this year only increasing growth!”
Looking for $PFE to miss top and bottom estimates and contract guidance - big miss and big drop, looking for $AMD to rocket on all cylinders beating everything and go up 20% - I’m typically wrong on all fronts and the inversion here might match reality
@everytimeicash@Crussian17 Looking for the breakdown today, start the capitulation, now’s the time to do it with a short squeeze rally to save it before FOMC
@Crussian17 Yeah, I think it retraces today ending negative from yesterdays close, pushes higher yet again tomorrow, and then collapses after FOMC announcement through end of Thursday, the $150 support will break this week

@ThomasBJones2@NairnMcD That's quite an erroneous comparison comparing slavery to protecting the life of an unborn baby. But alas, liberals always seek to force their beliefs and restrictions on others all in the name of "freedom".
@Finsoul9 Furthermore, the act of injecting myself with a chemical or forcing my employees to inject themselves only affects individually not another living human being with a heartbeat.
@Finsoul9 I get your point but where I think it's flawed is that, preserving it maintains larger govt - the Federal govt telling states what they can and cannot allow while overturning it gives that power back to the people and the states.
