Did you #SayNoToRightmove? Are you tired of portal fee increases? And portals monetising YOUR data?
Help us to create a property portal FOR agents, BY agents. Join us: https://t.co/8beoiiUysW
The dream of agents officially owning their own portal has hit another road block. Will agents ever learn? Will agents ever work together?
Agents can only hope (sadly) that OTM fees remain low, and that the portal gains traction with consumers.
Interesting video! LOTS of valid points. Not sure "proper estate agent" is the right term, mind. I prefer "low-volume estate agent" :-) But maybe RM fees are only an issue for low-volume estate agents? @powerbespoke@archerandcochep

"But the sale of OTM ends the somewhat tattered dream that the portal could be an ‘agent-owned’ alternative to Zoopla and Rightmove."
Surprised, anyone? Not us...

@integraps ...but as we've already deduced, it has NOTHING to do with portal functionality or the intent of the tweet. Do your beloved OTM spellcheck before they import listing data out of interest?
@integraps So out of all the promo tweets and multiple portal features, you pick out a typo that has nothing to do with the portal itself? That's your positive and constructive feedback that was worth a tweet? 🤦♂️🤷♂️
@integraps ....I'm sure you know how portals work by now @integraps? And that it doesn't involved meddling with (or monetising) data that we don't own? 😉
#EstateAgents, if you truly want to take back control of your industry and monetise your own data, please complete the form below.
We can integrate (for free) agents using 10Ninety, Lifesycle and very soon Alto. Also potentially Apex27 and Domus.

Be diligent when choosing a CRM for your #EstateAgents. You need freedom to share YOUR data and integrate with other web services at no, or limited, cost. 🫵

@PlatformProps Technically, yes we can However, Dezrez look like another example CRM that charges to share YOUR data. It would cost us £500 Setup & £150 Per Month (Plus VAT). So we can't take a feed just yet until we get more agent support. https://t.co/FwkhtYr7FY
@RicPickford@kae_travis@Agent_PeeBee@CharlesBarnard1 Found the issue! (Eg) If a prop ref from a feed is RS0012 and an agent ref is 1000_RS0012, we assumed that 1000 was unique to each agent. But it's not. Hence the listing wasn't updated accordingly.
We wouldn't discover this without data/testing. Thanks all!
