it was a canned response really. i don't think they really researched it. I asked them to have someone in Trust & Safety manually review my account in the DM a week ago and they never replied. So i posted on the Youtube Community forum asking for help a couple days ago. No movement there either.

My channel was suspended under the Circumvention Policy in error. I have never owned, operated, or been associated with any previously terminated YouTube channels. I believe my channel was mistakenly linked by automated systems. Could you please escalate this for a manual review of the association?

@VinnyKicks @TeamYouTube it's so bizarre. i'm in the same boat. i just started my channel last November. never posted youtube content before then yet i'm flagged for circumventing. it has to be a glitch in the automated system. i hope your issue gets resolved quickly too.

@TeamYouTube Following up: My formal appeal was officially rejected. The initial appeal submission did not properly address the Circumvention flag due to my confusion over the policy notice.

I have never owned or managed any other terminated YouTube channel. This is an automated false-positive association.

@TeamYouTube Thank you. The appeal was denied because I wasn’t clear on the reason for the ban before appealing and I apologize for that. Could you please research this issue? I haven’t had any other accounts that were banned in the past so I have done no circumventing.
