During his revealing 2003 interview for the documentary Living with Michael Jackson, the King of Pop did not hesitate to confront the relentless rumor mill surrounding him.
When journalist Martin Bashir questioned the speculation about his cosmetic procedures, bringing up the outlandish rumor of an alleged beard transplant, the artist’s response was blunt and indignant.
With visible frustration, the singer dismissed such fabrications by the tabloid press as absurd, exclaiming that it was all a lie and pure falsehood. He pointed out the ridiculousness of the stories published by the newspapers, which went so far as to claim that every hair on his face had been implanted using laser technology, something he called ignorant.
This tense exchange laid bare the constant media pressure and relentless harassment the music star endured throughout his life.

Nirvana's landmark album Nevermind, released in 1991, has achieved a monumental milestone by surpassing AC/DC's Back in Black on the list of the best-selling albums of all time.
According to updated figures from Chartmasters, the album that immortalized Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl climbed to sixth place on the chart with 66.832 million equivalent sales.
This narrow margin (just 1,000 units ahead of AC/DC’s 66.831 million) rewrites the record books. While the Australian band’s classic still holds the lead in physical vinyl sales, the overwhelming strength of the digital catalog and streaming of grunge’s seminal work ultimately tipped the scales in favor of the Seattle trio.
The achievement carries even more weight when viewed alongside the giants that surround it, as it has also surpassed Pink Floyd’s iconic album The Dark Side of the Moon.
Christine McVie passed away in November 2022, at the age of 79, after a brief illness, leaving Stevie Nicks convinced that Fleetwood Mac had come to a definitive end.
The band’s last tour, “An Evening with Fleetwood Mac,” which took place between 2018 and 2019, had been a huge success, and for a time there was a possibility they might return to the stage together.
In an interview with Vulture, Stevie was clear: “Without her, what’s the point? She was like my soulmate, my musical soulmate, and my best friend, with whom I spent more time than with any of my other best friends outside the band.” For her, Christine represented something irreplaceable, to the point of wondering who would take that spot behind the Hammond organ.
Mick Fleetwood had expressed a similar sentiment months earlier, speaking of a line drawn in the sand following Christine’s loss. For Stevie, the decision was final: “When she died, I thought we really couldn’t go on with this. There’s no reason to.”
“After we watched the biopic of Michael Jackson “Michael” it was then we realized how powerful and influential he was, we were in tears because how the world treated him is not fear. We wish he were still with us today to witness some of his greatness live” — American duo, Twinjabi.
Michael Jackson is one of the people in the world with rare talent.
On January 19, 1994, Paul McCartney took the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York to induct John Lennon as a solo artist, six years after he himself had been absent from the ceremony that had inducted The Beatles due to a business dispute among them.
That night, with the wounds of the past now healed, Paul decided to read his speech as if it were a personal letter addressed to his friend.
He opened with a simple “Dear John,” recalling shared anecdotes from the band’s early days: the fake names they used on tour, the nerves they felt while recording “Love Me Do” together, and the trip to Spain with the money from John’s 21st birthday that ended up just in Paris, where they both got the haircut that would later become a global icon.
Yoko Ono, who was present alongside her sons Sean and Julian, accepted the honor on John’s behalf. Paul closed the letter with a simple, heartfelt phrase: “This letter comes with love, from your friend Paul. John Lennon, you did it. Tonight you’re in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”
