بعد أيام غير معلومة..
سيرجع أهل الجنوب محمّلين بفضل أهل غير الجنوب عليهم، ومثقلين بالتعب والحنين.
سترى ازدحاماً نحو ال��نّة المهدمة التي لم تمت، وترى نظرات العوائل بعضها إلى بعض، من سيارة إلى أخرى.. نظرات تهنئ بالعودة وتعزي بمن فُقِد، وتحمل أسئلة لا تنتهي.. وأجوبة لم تُقَل.. فهُم هُم. في الحرب انتبهوا أن بيوتهم متشابهة وعاداتهم اليومية واحدة، وأمزجتهم واحدة، ورائح�� طبخهم تكاد لا تختلف.. ولهفتهم على من لا خبر عنهم واحدة أيضا.
عندما ستصل السيارة الى اتجاه البلدة، أي مفرق "القاطع"، سيقول أحدٌ ما في كل سيارة، "وصلنا"! وسيجيبه أحدٌ آخر في السيارة، "لم نصل". حين نرى لافتة مكتوب عليها اسم الضيعة نكون قد وصلنا..
الكل سيكون ممتلئاً بالدموع الساخنة.. ومبتسماً، ومتلهفاً وخائفاً من لحظة الوصول، إلا التي تجلس إلى جانب السائق. ستكون صامتة تماماً مرتجفة الشفاه..
وحين ستظهر لافتة "الضيعة ترحب بكم" لن يتمالك أحد نفسه من افتضاح طفولته.
وفي مكان ما.. في لحظة ما.. ستتوقف السيارة.. ستنزل الجالسة إلى جانب السائق مهرولة نحو الوادي القريب من دا��ها، من دون الالتفات للدار. ستركض في السفح كما كانت تفعل في صباها. وكما تتبع رائحة الجب في موسم الزعتر، ستتبع رائحة قميص ولدها..
سترى ألف أمّ سارحة في البراري، في موسم قطاف الأحبة.
هناك، واحدة ستعمى قبل الوصول. واحدة ستموت حين تشتد رائحة العنبر قربها. وواحدة ستصل، تتفرس وجهه، ثم ترمي بطرفها نحو السماء مخاطبة:
يا رفيقي الله، لم أطلب منك أن يرجع حياً ولا سالما، علمت أنه قتيل حين علمتَ أنت، لكني طلبت منك أن تبقي جسده طرياً وملامحه واضحة، ولم تفعل. ما هكذا الظن بك..
ثم ستسلّم على أمّ الحسين، وترجع إلى الدار وهي تردّد بيتاً ورثته عن أمها:
"يا مَن شدّوا عن عيوني رَحلهون
عا ديرة غُرب ما فيي رُحلهون
كم مكتوب مِن يَمّي رَحلهون
ولا ردّوا عمكتوبي جواب"

في لبنان وفي فلسطين سننتصر

Devastating news continues to emerge from Lebanon, where 1500+ civilians have been injured or killed due to an indiscriminate Israeli bombing campaign in the last 24 hours. Our community is watching in horror as loved ones in Lebanon are being slaughtered, from the densely-populated Beirut suburbs to the villages of South Lebanon.

The Israeli government’s aggression continues to target civilians and infrastructure, mirroring the atrocities we've seen in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

Netanyahu and his cabinet of war criminals continue to act with impunity; a direct result of our government supplying it with military and financial assistance, no matter the crimes they commit. The Israeli occupation forces just deliberately targeted a group of journalists reporting the Israeli attacks on the Lebanese borders. Al Mayadeen correspondent Farah Omar and photojournalist Rabih Al Maamari were killed. RIP.
