Here’s the crazy part: They say my husband owes this from when he was a little kid on his parents’ Social Security disability benefits decades ago. His family received help back then — not us as adults, not as parents running our own farm with a baby.
We had zero idea this could come back on us years later.
So now we’re filling out hardship forms, calling every office we can, and proving we need our own refund just to survive.
This is the kind of government overreach nobody talks about until it hits your bank account.

A woman got her nails done then tried to pay with an EBT card. The nail tech informed her they don’t take EBT as payment but that she could use a credit it or debit card . The customer then proceeds to attack the nail tech claiming racism 😵‍💫
The attack is not surprising anymore unfortunately. The RIDICULOUS part of this is people actually having a debate about whether the nail tech was being discriminatory because the salon she worked at doesn’t take EBT as payment for services . Last I was aware EBT was strictly for food purchases only .. ?
