2016 GOP primaries through Super Tuesday won by Trump and percentage of non-Republicans who voted:

NH: 45%
SC: 24%
NV: 19%
AL: 31%
AR: 37%
GA: 30%
MA: 54%
TN: 37%
VA: 35%

That's an average of 35%. With the exception of VA, where he lost them narrowly to Rubio, Trump won the non-Republican vote in all these contests. And in most of them decisively. He was definitely boosted to the nomination by non-Republican voters.
