As a parent, I worry about our kids eye health. As a youth leader, I worry about our kids mental health as so many (and I’m totally guilty) glue in to tech forgetting need to be together and some use it to purposely zone out. #balance #chillir2chat

A2. As everyone is saying we set limits. I don’t want our kids to remember us as always starring at our phones but looking them in their eyes and focusing in. Thankfully our kiddos get lots of exposure to tech at school. We try to make home as low tech as possible. #chillir2chat

A1. I love having so many options!I try to balance as much as possible! As I plan lessons I try to always evaluate what is the best method/resource to assist the kiddos in learning and retaining. If learning can be deepened by tech then I’m in. Substitution...no go.#chillir2chat

Sept 11th... a day of learning and adventure in our room. We read 📖Sept 12th to remind my firsties it’s to remember history. We took a #virtualfieldtrip using @googleearth to Ground Zero and the Pentagon. We also wrote about HEROS after watching @iamkidpresident! #trueheroes
