@baseballtwit Excellent player when healthy, was also really good in playoffs with .347/.407/.639 in 17 gms with the late 90’s Sox. Including a great run in 99
My self-publishing debut, a short thread. First, please read and retweet to help promote. Second, I want to thank @tangotiger and @harrypav for reviewing and providing feedback. Review does not imply endorse, but I hope they approve as well. https://t.co/lU9KshGYX5
@EliBenPorat@enosarris@tangotiger@harrypav Great piece! I liked your reference to Stadler, IMO an underrated book. I’ve always found it interesting when pitchers that can throw a “straight” change with mirrored spin and in synergy with a FB, can be effective without elite velocity. Tho not much deviation at the plate.
@kidsonfirst@STR0 Unfortunately, a lot of communities don’t support baseball, agreed. Baseball is a business though. It’s baseball’s job to grow the sport or it fails. Baseball starts and ends with the players. Thats the product. They have the most reach and impact. You have a cool org there btw.
@pgammo The major issue here is that he’s played over 100 games at short and his metrics have him as a below avg SS..while he might be elite in the outfield.
