The Lord said. "You will laugh harder than you cried. I am bringing restoration to every part of your life. The latter shall certainly be greater than.”
You have to come into agreement with what God has spoken over your life. Get your identity from Him and not from people, not from circumstances, not from feelings. If you’re relying on those things, you’ll take on the wrong identity.
Ladies - don't be pressed by these "perfect" relationships you see online. You should not overlook what your partner does for you & decide to envy others just because they doing something different to each other than y'all
There's this saying comparison is the thief of joy, one of the biggest reasons why relationships don't last nowadays is comparison. Especially comparisons to celebrities & influencers couples
You will have a man who genuinely loves you & tries his very best to show you, how much of a queen you're to him. But you'll ignore or dismiss all his efforts, because his actions aren't matching up to the "goals" being highlighted on Instagram by a celebrity/influencer couple
And you'll now find yourself wishing your man could do "more" & when it seems he just can't do "more", you go out in search of "more". Social media has created the illusion that there's "more" out there than what you already have. It keeps you unsatisfied, always craving for "more"
That's how you'll find yourself in your 30s still unmarried, yet you've been in many relationships. That's how you'll find yourself divorced, because you've been programmed to think marriage is supposed to be a fairy tale
But if only you knew the truth, that a majority of these relationships you envy on social media, are barely held together by "likes". Because social media relationships will only broadcast the good parts, never the bad or ugly. If they were to deactivate their accounts, they'd seperate within a week
To conclude - this idea that as a woman you have unlimited options & there's "more" out there for you, than what you already have, will keep you in a vicious cycle. Be content. Learn OR perish!!!
"But made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:7-8)
God accepts and approves of you right where you are: faults, mistakes, shortcomings, and all. He knows you’re on a journey. He’s changing you little by little. He accepts you. Now, you have to accept yourself.
It may be impossible to you, but it’s not to our God. Start expecting His favor. Start believing that new levels are coming. Start talking like it’s going to happen.
