There is nothing we love more than seeing happy fish enjoying our fish treats. One of the best things about our fish treats is the way they draw all your fish to the front of the tank. Thanks to Heather Walford for sending us this video of her Goldfish. #fishscience

During the first few weeks after starting a new tank, you will see most of the problems occur. Adding your new fish gradually and try taking care not to over feed them, you can reduce the risk of restarting the nitrogen cycle again.

Only buy fish from tanks in which all of the fish look healthy. If you notice unwell fish it may be that all in the tank are affected. Take your time to observe the entire aquarium for signs of potential problems before selecting fish to add to your healthy setup.

At low temperatures, your pond fish feed less frequently. Only feed them if they are actively looking for food and rise to the surface to feed. This will reduce the amount of excess food in the water which could cause issues with water quality.

It is important to clean out your #pond from time to time. A net will keep leaves out of the water and prevent filter blockages, but make sure it's secured all around so that flying debris doesn't get trapped by accident as well!

"Just wanted to let you know Iβm having great success with the goldfish food.
Sinking pellets are my favourite much prefer my Goldies eating from the bottom of the tank rather than the surface just to stop them swallowing air while they eat."
