@WE6291 I don’t know much about guns, but I do know the person making $20 or less an hour doesn’t deserve one in their face because they are enforcing the corporate behemoth’s return policy.
@gregkellyusa If you’re actually winning, you don’t kick out the people booing, you hope they stay and you point at the scoreboard. Say whatever you want, winners don’t care when the other side boos.
@JonahDispatch There’s something fitting about the love these people have for AI slop. It’s low hanging fruit for the talentless. This video is a participation trophy for the mediocre.
@cwdarney Fun to look past the spy stuff and watch it purely as a marriage story. Acting is amazing as they have to mask their emotions and always portray silent fear, silent rage, etc. Never seen an actor be as good at playing high functioning depressed as Rhys, did it in Perry Mason too.
@AlZeidenfeld Those would all be elements of what a ridiculous and huge scandal it would be. It’s one that would probably get even too much attention because of how much media catnip it has: arts/entertainment, DC elites care about it, cronies on the board, POTUS’s insatiable ego and pettiness
@janecoaston Is that the great meritocracy we keep hearing about? Dude gets to talk while others must listen because of the most distant of branches on his family tree?
@DKThomp@JulianAndreone So if you have trained guard Dobermans, and there’s a bunch of kids that just hopped your fence, and the you let the dogs out, you’re calling the subsequent mauling of the kids unintentional?
@mattyglesias Because it’s a dynamic relationship with each customer, it’s as if the tobacco companies knew the people who had the most susceptibility of nicotine addiction, then sold them 10x nicotine products, at the precise time of day when their nicotine susceptibility was at its highest.
@DKThomp@buccocapital Yes, the COIs all around are staggering, and it’s hard to give credence to what a lot/most these folks are saying. Frustrating that we don’t have a functional congress that could bring these guys in and make them answer questions under penalty of perjury.
@JoshMalina I know he’s your nemesis, but I really wish there was someone in real life that I believed in to give the Josh Lyman line, “a bunch of tech CEOs aren’t going to take down the human race, I won’t allow it.” @bradleywhitford
@BallouxFrancois Right? The solution is to spoil all the food, medication, stop all medical procedures and live saving devices, leave people completely exposed to weather elements, any and all flow of commerce, and on and on, and on…
@samstein This is the real problem with all the unserious people in this admin. They are not leaders, they’re critics at best. Not one of them wants the ball when real issues arise, and they have no ability, even if they had any interest, to overcome complex challenges.
@TOliveFern In 1996, Escape from LA had the character the Surgeon General of Beverly Hills. He was supposed to have outlandish plastic surgery as a commentary on the direction society was heading in especially around cosmetic surgery. Wild that his appearance is no longer clearly satire.
