The Fastmail Pairs Wimbleball heat will be held at Wimbleball on Sunday 24th May 2026, a very popular competition with our anglers as mates get to fish together.

This is a pair’s competition, where each pair fishes together in the same boat.

Placings are determined on the basis of the pairs total weight, including time bonus where applicable.

Entry fee is £50 a pair Each pair & will receive a value pack containing relevant and valuable products as well as any winning prizes.

Steve Lawes had a good couple of sessions from Bank & Boat on the 6th & 7th June, he had 16 fish to the net, the best estimated to be c.12lbs.
Steve said most came to an orange FAB fished on a midge-tip line, in and around Ruggs Bay.

Catching some mega fish, 7 fish in total all fish were in mint condition and some lovely surprises at the end of the day with not one but two 7ibs rainbows to the net which topped the day off.

The CORNISH Boys crossed the Mighty TAMAR and into England today chasing the Slabs of Wimbleball Lake on the top of Exmoor , with a nice Blue for Roger, but the TOP fish for the Day a Stunning 11 1/2 lb Rainbow for Keith , 30 Plus Fish between 2 1/2 and 11 ½ lb.
