As a human, I crave expansion. Spiritually, physically, materially, in my career, knowledge and every other area of my life. I crave growth, new experiences, new levels and everything that comes with becoming more. There is nothing wrong with wanting more. Expansion is necessary.
I do not know who needs to hear this, but it is okay to switch careers. It is okay to diversify and explore something different. You do not have to stay in a career for the rest of your life simply because of what people will say. It is okay to start again.
Being busy should not mean forgetting to enjoy your life. You do not have to work back-to-back or look stressed to prove that you are hardworking. Find little moments of enjoyment, even on your busiest days.
I really hope you experience the peace, joy and love you deserve. Life can be a lot when you are trying to build something, work hard, deal with difficult people and still get your life together. I hope life is kind to you.
People expect you to be available at every hour because “you work online.” Then they are surprised when you are tired after a full day of work.
Remote work is still work, please. 😭
Makeup artists, hairstylists, nail and lash technicians are learning skills, building businesses and making honest money. Not everyone will be a remote worker or 9-5er. Disregarding people's hard work because it does not fit your idea of success is simply ridiculous!!
I just saw a tweet where someone belittled women who make hair and do nails, implying that they think they are established because they have those businesses. In a society where young people are actively trying to make something of themselves, mocking honest work is honestly sad!
