@clare_k07@njeriand@mtgreenee Why don't you devote your energy to lobbying for reasonable medical costs in USA for ALL Americans, regardless of their income status. It is appalling, compared to the rest of the world
@clare_k07@njeriand@mtgreenee Why are you so worried about what someone does to improve their health? Do you understand that medical travel is HUGE for Americans, who regularly visit Europe, MiddleEast and Asia for MUCH cheaper medical/dental treatments of all kinds, urgent or otherwise, essential or not
@clare_k07@njeriand@mtgreenee She felt she needed it, and she felt she needed it now (ie immediately) rather than waiting an indefinite number of years to be approved in USA. And even if approved, likely at 10-100 times the price. USA's treatment costs are ridiculously high
@clare_k07@njeriand@mtgreenee By the way, a treatment to increase wellness is not necessarily all just about "beauty", it may well be about living longer and healthier. Maybe that is your automatic focus?
@YouKnoImHim Ohhhhh, I thought no-one talked about her until her split with Daily Wire. I mean, no-one talked about her until her work with TPUSA. I mean, the Macron series. Oh, sorry it must ONLY have been Charlie's death and Erika
@EricLDaugh He doesn't want the war to break out "again"? Meanwhile Israel kept bombing people and Iran continued retaliations. It never stopped. He has no power
@njeriand@mtgreenee They are not mutually exclusive. You can fight a system and try to bring things into USA, while travelling elsewhere to get treatments you need immediately, while waiting for that to get approved in USA
@TINATINA2038712@mtgreenee Let me understand your logic. If she had paid for a treatment in USA at 10x the price, noone would bat an eyelid. But going to another country, having what she needed, paying less even including the cost of travel, and you are dissing that she used money she earned to do it?
@omgsidewalks I totally agree. However, I think that many of us don't disagree with those points, just that the solutions suggested are absolute rubbish, and designed to make some groups rich, without resolving the issues
@chicksonright How many Americans are in huge debt because of either education or medical fees? Meanwhile, Russia offers both free health care and University to citizens. Sorry that you Americans are so deluded that you think you get a good deal there
@chicksonright Some of the poorest people in USA have debt, to subsidise their income to survive. Americans live beyond their means. And the cost of living is higher, compared to income. And don't worry, my crayons AND typing, can be understood
@euromaximal@diegodixz The population has virtually not changed in 25yrs. Portugal is not short of housing. It has plenty. It has dreadful policies in both inheritance and taxation & a heap of emigrants who keep a home here, empty, that is causing a shortage
@euromaximal Likely true. Meanwhile the government, and a big proportion of portugueses in tourist zones, push hard to get tourists there and market it, to keep the economy flowing. If it is not wanted, don't market it, and restrict tourist visa numbers. Simple
