BMS volleyball team participated in Middle School Night @ WEGO on 10/7. The teams played 15 min matches against Lehman MS, with JV coming in at 20-27 & varsity with a 25-12 victory! Players stayed to watch the HS teams play & participate in a serving competition between matches.

NJHS sponsored a 2 week Change Wars competition to raise money for Mercy Home Chicago, a place for children to live who have experienced trauma or neglect. BMS raised a total of $964.83! Mr. Allard's class brought in the most money. THANK YOU to the community for donating!
6th graders learned how sunlight can be converted into heat energy. They constructed a transmitter, reflector, conductor, & insulator for their oven. They applied conduction, convection & radiation concepts to see if their oven heated up their marshmallow. Bonus: s’mores!
BMS NJHS Charity Fest was a blast! NJHS raised $2,210 for Mercy Home & the American Cancer Society, & 124 board games for local hospitals. Homerooms rotated through 3 info stations & games to learn about the charities & NJHS. The day ended with a staff v student volleyball game.
