Fellow Ontario tax payers - please like and retweet if you would rather $3.2 Billion be invested in public services, like education, healthcare, ODSP, support for autism families, than be dolled out in one-time $200 pre-election bribes by Doug Ford. #onpoli#onted#cdpoli
@RichardCityNews "For instance, here's Dave. Dave's got a wealth of life experience. He just finished high school, played high school football three years in a row, and worked part-time at Tims. Dave is rarin' to get a gun and a fast car and arrest bad guys."
@Sflecce Really? 400% increase?
Where? How? In what capacity?
Must not have made its way to schools yet🤷🏻♀️, which is odd given how substantial the funding increase is.
@AnneofKingston@HoleMaximus@cityofkingston@fordnation As soon as I found out about this last year when they "estimated" I used $500 worth of gas (based on opening our pool early the YEAR BEFORE), I submit my meter readings religiously every month to avoid this. Biggest scam going.
This is a photo from when Ontario stood up to Doug Ford about bill 28. He originally dug in his heels, but Ontario pushed back so loudly that Ford had to rescind that bill.
We must do the same with Ford’s plans to privatize our public healthcare system!
Be LOUD Ontario!
Doug Ford's Greenbelt swindle is going to up municipal property taxes 50 to 90% in some regions.
That's thousands of dollars in new taxes annually, per household. The #Ontario Conservatives are imposing one of the largest tax increases in this province's history. 🤔 #OnPoli
The Ford gov't has just passed #Bill23, despite massive protests. It's not just the sprawl, it's not just the pollution, it's the #corruption. And the outright lying and promise-breaking. Voters will not be able to trust anything these folks say. It ain't over.
Is this government listening? Thousands of Ontarians have spoken and called for major amendments to be made to #Bill23. Paving over our #greenbelt threatens our water, air quality, and will raise the cost food — making it harder for Ontarians to put food on the table. #onpoli
@Ole_Manhattan@Sflecce Oh sure, they "doubled" the funding. Just like they hired 7000 additional education workers since 2018. Just like how strikes have caused students to be out of class for 2,200+ days since 1989. Surely you know these numbers don't mean anything!
Y'all realize what @Sflecce and @fordnation are doing right? They don't want to do the bare minimum to keep kids out of hospitals, so they're making an education crisis to keep illness from spreading in schools and making CUPE the scapegoat. This is obvious, yes?
