For nearly an entire calendar year one woman defined not just a division. She defined the identity of FIW. Beating the top talent both genders had to offer and doing it with a SPARKLE in her eye.

A hero isn’t necessarily defined by his successes. How he reacts to setbacks can show you who they really are. No matter the hurtle, the issue, The Dream never let it get him down for long. It’s why he’s so beloved by the fans worldwide.

Evil comes in many forms. In FIW there’s a boogeyman most only speak of in a hushed tone, in fear of his ire. Devastation follows him like an old friend. Victories, championships, other men’s careers, nothing can sate his blood lust.

Despite getting knocked down occasionally, the Alpha Wolves always got back up. Their ability to rely on one another & their tenacity in-ring earned some major victories. Their accolades speak for themselves, as will this one.

The Alpha Wolves are the Tag Team of the Year.

Often times a stable will have aspirations of world domination. It’s not often you see a group of talented athletes gather to better wrestling. But the Badd Breed did just that, serving as guards at the gates of FIW for any evil that wandered in.

Being a manager in this business can be rough. Though it helps if you’ve got a pretty face, it takes more than good looks to succeed. You need to be able to turn any talent into a pedigree champion.

It’s this skill that very likely has earned Kim Coulter Manager of the Year.

Occasionally there is a wrestler that comes along that has a fantastic rookie year in a company. They capture the hearts and minds of everyone around them in such a way you feel as though they were always there.

It’s why Newcomer of the Year is Starr.

2017 was a turbulent year for Full Intensity Wrestling. It saw the rise and fall of many careers, many grasps at power. It saw the cementing of legacies and the fans build new heroes. We now look back at some of 2017 with the FIW Awards.
