Hating on your friends that are doing well for themselves is wack ass energy.
People make it so obvious when they’re feeling insecure and directing that energy negatively leaves you in the same spot, year after year… with nothing to show for it.
Hate that for you.
I really want this message to travel to whoever needs to hear it…
Don’t let people talk you out of the vision you have for yourself.
Your ideas. Your aspirations of your life.
I thank my 23 year old self everyday for not listening to anybody…
because deep down she knew. ❤️
I also recently had a meeting with the Governor and his office and was requested to display all my artwork inside of his office at the Capitol.
They asked that the bio, description and price of each of my pieces be displayed.
When you are young, it is really easy for people to talk you out of doing something you love or want to do with your life…
Your heart is ambitious and sometimes people like to project on to others the things they did not get to do with their own life…
I am 33 years old now.
I am a international gallery artist and have ran my business now for 12 years.
My artist name is Fiyabomb.
I just received a call from Yale and was requested to be booked to teach their employees how to paint inside of their art department…
Yale…
“You can’t afford Yale, it’s too expensive”,
“their art program is overrated”,
“your portfolio isn’t sufficient enough”
“You honestly should go into the medical field instead, it’s more thriving”
“Studio artists don’t make a lot of money and you’ll end up quitting”
……
When I was 23, I went back to the art department of CCSU to seek guidance from my past professors to pursue grad school.
Yale was one of the schools I wanted to apply to because of their art program.
One of the most prestigious programs.
This what they said to me…
Ready to cry my inspired heart out with @rupikaur_ also pizza date with my golden egg @miss_prez_23 🧡✨🍕
