Lastly thanks to @CanyonDriver@Sam_Vecenie@DraftExpress and others for the tremendous content. Accessibility of High Quality draft info for regular people has never been better for Sickos like me.
Lessons from over a decade of building NBA Draft big boards:
1) Have strong opinions, loosely held.
Conviction matters.
So does being willing to change your mind when new information becomes available.
Stubbornness is not the same thing as confidence.
11) Avoid black-and-white thinking.
"This guy is obviously a star."
"This guy is obviously a bust."
The draft is the great humiliator.
I'd never want my team staffed by people who think that way.
@CanyonDriver I really like Zuby for the Lakers, especially if JJ will continue to default to a switching scheme.
Im a big enough believer in his motor and versatility that Iβm comfortable giving up some length.
Would be very happy with Tarris Reed as a more traditional option as well!
@CanyonDriver He was probably my favorite player to watch in all of the NCAA last season.
Skeptical of his value in nba halfcourt offense. I like the idea of him with a hub big who can find him on cuts.
Hope he lands in a situation with lots of floor spacing around him and a creative coach!
