For me, the problem is minecraft has two modes.
Death being extremely punishing if you don't immediately have the ability to rush back to where you died, or death having literally zero consequence.
They just need to add a gravestone feature. That's it, that's all they need to do.
I always thought turning keep inventory on was a boring move because it pretty much negates the survival aspect of the survival game and changes real death punishment into just a time waster making you walk back. There’s no stakes in fights with it on.
That’s just me though ig
@segfaultdasilva@_k0lter_ The only two arguments against 60fps mods are competitive environments (i.e. speedruns) and artistic integrity. Maybe it's 30fps because its the default. Maybe it's 30fps because that's what toby fox wants the game to be for his vision. We can't know, both make sense.
@segfaultdasilva@_k0lter_ These 60fps mods do nothing to change the inherent difficulty of the game. The only way this helps in terms of advantage is input latency, since it's getting inputs every 16ms instead of every 32ms, which COULD help you avoid attacks, but it's such a small difference.
@KongoBongoMax@CorkinMyCork@bumble_bbgun I play PC and modding quite literally isn't an argument. That's like saying Deltarune on PC is better because you can replace sound files or make Togore real. I mean, I guess, but we're talking about base Deltarune here.
@thebigmoop_ The only thing I think this video did badly was the "Asgore being in flower king when the fountain was made was a co-ordinated plan" when he literally lives and works there.
@chimeraAmbition@QueenOfGrubs Truth NUKE. The original design could be taken as an allegory, but I feel like twitter users don't understand the difference between "an allegory in a story" and "this literally actually happened in the story".
shown as being conditional. You will only respect someone's identity if you don't think they're a bad person. It doesn't matter just how bad that person is. Whether they've done something slightly bad or became the worst person alive. Your respect of identity isn't rigid at all.
The difference between a Trans Woman/Man and a Trans Woman/Man that's done a bad thing is that one has done a bad thing, and the other hasn't. If you disrespect the one who did a bad thing's identity intentionally, even if you respect the others, your respect of identity is now
@Av4L0N_1@GrayMan7278 That's fair, I think in theory an enemy that makes you change how you play is good game design, the way they pulled off the marauder though for me just brings the game to a halt.
@rightwingDNA@GrayMan7278 It's when they start throwing marauders in normal encounters the pace clashes. Very different playstyles. I also think most encounters in the game are more fun than even the solo marauder encounter because there's more to do, way more ways to play around.
@rightwingDNA@GrayMan7278 Honestly they aren't that bad for me, they're fun to use as slingshots, just gotta dump a ton of ammo into them. My favourite enemy is probably the Baron of Hell, they're fun to melt down. In a one on one, as much shit as I gave the marauder, best single enemy to fight.
@cawper12@GrayMan7278 The dog is fine for me, the issue is that demon attacks trigger it, not just your own. The marauder is just inherently bad game design as a normal encounter. Now if the marauder was a singular ever-present counterforce that popped up as a mini boss every few levels? Peak.
