🧵Is the Russian ‘Vostok’ army group beginning to buckle?
The latest in Tochnyi's series of 'Frontline Briefs', produced with our colleagues at @WarUnitObserver, focuses on frontline developments that might otherwise go unnoticed. 1/4
Ukrainians have launched a new online “game”: changing fuel station statuses on maps, marking empty stations as supplied and supplied stations as empty.
The result is chaos in Moscow: drivers waste time, burn extra fuel, create traffic jams, and clash at gas stations.
Russia asks Kazakhstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan to close their borders with Russia.
Mobilization coming.

This Ukrainian-made unmanned ground vehicle doesn’t carry weapons — it clears mines.
Currently undergoing testing, the remote demining system can help reduce risks to sappers while restoring access to contaminated land.

Something I've been waiting to see for a long time: drone operators striking Russian logistics at one of the key bottlenecks of the land corridor to Crimea — right in the middle of a pontoon crossing next to the damaged Chonhar Bridge.
If the Kerch Bridge ever stops functioning, crossings like this will become unavoidable death traps for Russian logistics. Every convoy, fuel truck and supply column heading into Crimea will be forced through the same narrow choke points, turning them into prime hunting grounds for Ukrainian drone operators.
A de facto i živé.
Každej život se počítá.
⚡️Ukraine just turned four years of captured Russian weapons into a shared intelligence resource.
The Ministry of Defence @DefenceU is launching TrophyLab — a platform aggregating technical data on captured Russian military equipment, collected from Ukraine's Defence Forces, Defence Intelligence, Security Service, and specialist research institutions.
After verification, access to the catalogue of schematics, technical specifications, and analysis results will be available to:
→ Ukrainian Defence Forces units
→ Ukrainian research and development organisations
→ Ukrainian defence technology manufacturers
→ Government bodies and defence agencies of partner states
→ Partner-country defence companies meeting MoD requirements
Every Kalibr missile Ukraine has dismantled to the circuit board. Every Shahed variant analysed. Every Iskander modification documented. Every piece of captured armour inspected.
Ukraine has been doing this forensic work since 2022 — identifying foreign components in Russian weapons, mapping supply chains, tracking modifications that confirm Ukrainian EW is working.
Now that knowledge base becomes accessible to allied defence establishments — not just as intelligence, but as engineering data for developing countermeasures, improving interception systems, and closing the supply chain gaps that keep Russian weapons flying.
"The entire civilised world will now have access to the secrets of Russian weapons and equipment — helping to stop the enemy and end the war from a position of strength."
This is Ukraine converting battlefield experience into a strategic asset for the entire alliance.

Zajímavost k 300 miliardám $ pro Írán:
odpovídá to jednoročnímu HDP Íránu
Pro představu:
Česko by v ekvivalentním dealu dostalo asi 430 miliard $, za které bychom mohli splatit kompletní státní dluh a ještě by více než polovina obdržených peněz zbyla
Nejsou to úplně drobky...
Azov presents: The Good. The Bad. The Ugly.
With no fuel left, the Russians are resorting to other means to storm positions in First Corps Azov’s area of responsibility. The Ukrainian Defense Forces try not to kill the donkeys. No one made any promises to armed riders, however.
The Ukrainian Wild East is no place for Russian occupiers. We are ready to shoot many more films like this one, but do you really want to star in them, amigos?
The Ukrainian mine-clearing line-charge “Tropa” system is mounted on a “Sirko-S1” UGV.
Deployed by a rocket, the remotely operated and command-detonated system clears a 150-meter-long by 60-cm-wide path through an anti-personnel minefield.
Russia 🇷🇺 is putting pontoon bridges on both roads leading to Crimea, in Chonhar as seen through the high-res satellite images (Radio Svoboda) and in Armyansk with Sentinel-2 images.
Both bridges are damaged and currently out of use. A pontoon bridge makes movement slower, which can allow Ukraine 🇺🇦 to strike military convoys, while it is much easier to destroy those.
These 2 choke points between Crimea and southern Ukraine are important to further complicate any logistical movement. We will probably soon be able that Ukraine gained fire control on key roads heading to Crimea.
Ukraine 🇺🇦 continues to launch an important number of mid-range strike, targeting Russian 🇷🇺 logistics in occupied territories
Since early may, more than 270 trucks have been hit, together with multiple fuel depots and trains.

Catch up Ukraine map thread for 6th June - 9th June 2026
Highlights: We return to regular posting, but as always, updates continued to be done via the map and log. Don't forget you can always check there. There's four days to catch up on, so it'll be a long one.
Map focus on occupied Donetsk today, where to the north of it, Russian forces continue to press in on Kostyantynivka and Chasiv Yar heavily. Whilst we'd prefer to see a concentrated effort of the drones on the Russian forces attempting to get to Kostyantynivka from Donetsk, we are aware these are brand new drones and the strikes on the map are just a sample of the ones recorded this month alone. Many more targets have been hit, and substations are looking a little rough. What's also interesting is the wide array of units getting these midstrikes drones, offering a capability they did not have before.
Some other interesting targets shown in the side images, with a large ammunition dump in a forested area near Belgorod detonated with a lot of enthusiasm, and the 15th Arsenal near St Petersburg hit, destroying a large section of munitions and numerous buildings. There's so many more targets hit, including oil infrastructure.
On the front line, Kostyantynivka is very contested at this point in time. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces were sighted clearing Russian areas near Lypove north of Lyman, and in the Pokrovske direction
Madyar says that traffic along Russia’s critical R-280 supply route has dropped 71% over the past two weeks due to Ukraines mid-range drone strike campaign.
Magyar claims a reduction from 3,800 cargo journeys to 1,100 cargo journey (71.05%) along the E-58 Mariupol -Berdiansk - Melitopol - Simferopol highway in the past two weeks
He makes it clear that doesn't mean they've destroyed 2,700 trucks, nor that they have total fire control over the route. It does mean non essential journeys are now stopped or going via backroads (and thus, paradoxically, every hit now is worth even more!)
It's still absolutely brilliant, and those numbers aren't going to go down whilst Ukraine maintains this mid strike drone advantage.
