The Somers varsity football team didn't win a state championship on Saturday in Syracuse. If you think that, you don't understand football in this town.

Somers won a state title. Not just the team. But the community.

From flag to youth to JV to varsity:

This Saturday 3/11 at 1pm - SHS Varsity Football State Championship Parade & Rally! The parade will go from Van Tassel to SHS.  Please park in the SHS/Primrose parking lots by 12:30PM.  After parade enter SHS Lower Gym through Commons where there will be raffles, prizes, and fun!

Among the most amazing things I saw at last night’s @SomersFootball 41-0 win over Pelham was at halftime during the Youth Night ceremony.

There are 250 girls playing Flag Football from K to 9 - 220 of which are Somers residents.

Somers is truly a football town.
