Een 35-jarige man uit de Belgische gemeente Waals-Brabant wordt verdacht van het #verkrachten van twaalf minderjarige meisjes tussen de 10 en 16 jaar. De man zou via #Snapchat, contact hebben gezocht met 26 slachtoffers. Zijn identiteit en leeftijd hield hij geheim. Met sommige slachtoffers sprak hij fysiek af.

De verdachte werd uiteindelijk door enkele ouders via Snapchat in de val gelokt. De ouders in kwestie antwoordden op een bericht op Snapchat van de verdachte, bedoeld voor hun dochter. Daarna gingen ze in plaats van hun kind zelf naar een fysieke afspraak met de man. De arrestatie van de man vond vorig jaar al plaats maar komt nu pas naar buiten.
