Hi new friends!!
I'm a solo dev working on an ambitious, marine life-inspired adventure RPG where you play as a sea slug and...
🗺️Journey into unique biomes
🧑🌾Farm crops and raise animals
🏡Decorate your home
😊Visit towns and make new slug friends

The past few months I've been doing another visual pass at the NPC slug town.
Last version was a good improvement, but it still was not quite there yet and I had to make some bold changes. Very happy with the results this time😊
Here's a quick tour!

@jumitgames Hello there! Not sure why I wasn't notified of your comment, but thanks the feedback and suggestion, sounds like a good idea that I might add in!
@AnxietreeDev Much appreciated friend!! All this rework and polishing has been LONG, but it's super rewarding to see how far it's come looking back.
Thanks a ton for following along on this journey
I've always loved the look of the coral reef biome in Don't Starve Shipwrecked, so I tried to create my version of it using Unity's Shadergraph.
All generated with procedural noise :)

Showing off some combat in my sea slug RPG using a variety of weapons, plus an inventory wheel menu to quickly switch between equipment

Finished building heavy weapons with a slow 2-part swing primary attack for damage and huge knockback, plus a devastating slam for alt attack.
It's hammer time 💥🔨

Testing spear weapons with a 3-part thrust primary attack for damage and knockback, and a spear throw for a strong alt attack, all aim where the cursor points at.
How do you think this combat looks in a top-down 2D game with 4-directional animations?
