A 16-year-old boy was stabbed, his genitals dismembered and his body dumped in a lake in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal after a group of youths saw an Instagram reel claiming that human testicles can be sold for Rs 1.2 crore in Gulf countries, police said Wednesday.

Bhopal Police arrested Zoheb Khan, 20, a BBA student, 18-year-old Aamir Qureshi, a Class VIII dropout, and apprehended three minor boys aged between 15 and 16 years. The accused and the victim played cricket together, police said, adding that the gruesome crime was committed after Zoheb allegedly saw a Pakistani reel on Instagram where a woman claimed a teenage boy’s testicles could fetch them Rs 1.20 crore.

A horrifying lift accident in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, has claimed the life of a woman after an elevator reportedly moved downward with its door open.

The incident took place at Surya Apartments on Sunday. The woman was reportedly inside the lift with her daughter and grandson. While the daughter and grandson managed to get out, the lift suddenly started moving as the woman was stepping out.

She reportedly became trapped between the lift and the building structure and suffered severe injries. People at the spot rescued her and rushed her to a hospital, but she later succmbed to her inj**ries.
