🚨 Another Fiber Cut in Town Creek 🚨
We’re frustrated to report yet another fiber line was cut by someone looking for copper near the Hwy 101 Handy Mart, located at the corner of Hwy 101 and County Road 184 in Town Creek, AL. This happened some time after 6 pm last night. The exact location is circled in the photo below.
Let’s be clear — this is extremely dangerous, illegal, and completely pointless.
Fiber optic cables contain no copper, no metal, and nothing of resale value.
💸 These reckless acts cause costly service outages for FlashFiber customers and require hours of work to repair.
🔹 FlashFiber is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible.
🔹 If you have any information, please contact the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
Together, let’s stop this senseless damage and protect our community’s network.
