This is heartbreaking and very imminent to all of the UK.
Earlier this month I went to London to have a meeting with @ucl and @uclh to form an alliance.
At @FlemingMedlab we will do our best to help boost Stroke Rehab not just within the institutions but also remotely too.
Shocking stats from today's article in @guardian : Only 4.3% of stroke patients in England can access life-saving treatment! Mechanical thrombectomy is one of the most effective, cost-saving interventions, potentially saving the NHS £73M a year. More resources are urgently needed!

To me, there are 3 underserved areas of the healthcare system.
1. Recovery and rehabilitation.
2. Mental health and its normalization.
3. Helping people that are recovering (physically or mentally) to get back to society.
What do you think our healthcare system is overlooking?
I work with physical therapists daily to use our exoskeleton robots at @FlemingMedlab to help stroke patients to walk again.
Of which, I learnt that many PTs don’t have their personal brand. Or even a company brand.
This is your chance to stand out as a PT.
Don’t miss out.
Since today is World Stroke Day, we wanted to share more about it with the public.
Of the 15 million new stroke cases every year, 80% of them suffer from mobility issues. It is more debilitating than lethal.
But with proper treatments, patients can very well recover.
Hey twitterverse, we at Fleming are building wearable robots for therapists and clinicians to help stroke survivors move and walk again! Stay tuned for our upcoming projects 🦾🦿
