#middleschoolmath #MTBOS #iteachmath Give me all the ideas for getting middle school math students to share their strategies. (Assuming the teacher has done a goood deal of community building and valuing of student thinking)

For those of you who have taught, or are planning to teach with the Desmos Curriculum, what system did you find most effective for organizing lesson guides and unit materials? Did you print materials and use binders? Just keep all digital? Thanks for help!

@joelbezaire @Desmos I am teaching 8th and Algebra 1!! Can we share strategies?!?

[Laura Flenorl @FlenorlLaura]

We’ve adopted the Desmos Curriculum for next year 6-8th and Algebra 1. I’d love to connect with some teachers who have used the curriculum and can give tips for success! #Desmos #iteachmath #teachertwitter #MTBoS

Looking for literature suggestions to help me be the most effective instructional math coach next year. Thank you for any guidance. #middleschool #iteachmath #mtbos

@bcherrman I knew they had the print versions, but they will create an actual workbook? That’s awesome!!!

I’m looking for some real reviews of the Desmos math curriculum? Pros/Cons, student engagement? Thank you. #middleschoolmath #teachertwitter

@joelbezaire @iteachmath8 I like that one… but, we’ve already talked a lot about how a function can not have an input with more than one output. I was hoping to introduce them to the other parent functions.

[Laura Flenorl @FlenorlLaura]

@joelbezaire @iteachmath8 I’m looking for a desmos (or other) activity to introduce a very basic overview of functions to my 8th grade Algebra students. Please help!

Sorry to interrupt your morning but I have to tell you that 3 of my colleagues worked 16hrs last night as no nurse showed up to replace them. As you know, nurses are taught not to "abandon" patients. They had 1 code blue, no breaks, will be back for another shift tonight.
