@DrAwesomeV2 Honestly figured someone picked up the computer after every brain scan was taken, including those hypothetical "others that can fall in". and someone like real kinger or pomni's keeping them on repeat out of intrigue. With the years of simulation lasting few real world seconds
@_callmesebby or deltarune's a prequel and papyrus isnt around or whatever way deltarune's supposed to be a sequel to undertale. since it was always a narrative presented as toby having his cake and eating it too. eh
@_callmesebby If true then this is the funniest thing toby could do with the guy. Like holy fucking shit please toby this would be fantastic. Granted deltarune is shifting goalposts the 100 hour narrative so who knows.
@FaroeKitsune@emilyis_emilies Thats also just deltarune being way too long for its own good. but a different situation. gaster is very clearly just toby's own Gman in a narrative sense as his glorified middleman contextualization of toby himself and Gman moggs the fuck out of him for being that but good
@jelqmaster5 Its aethetics and mechanics do weave very well into the narrative and thesis it wants to discuss. Like the bullet hell dialogue puzzles are a very good choice at a gameplay loop that incentivizes thinking, and thus eventually. empathizing. writing just cant keep up.
@jelqmaster5 A better game than deltarune but still at best a 5/10 who's character writing undermines its intended themes way too badly to take it as anything but somewhat pretentous.
@Bemol417647 I mean ragatha would make more sense. Her kindness punching jax's mental gymnastics to try and deal with complicated and broken parents is shattered by an older woman just trying to do good for its own sake. Granted you could say both rags and gangle jax projects onto with that
@GrandestBust@emilyis_emilies Always "theory" and not, "Developed mechanical theme" Like i said, Gman with no aura. Everything you can try and say gaster is. Gman is actually all that and more from a mechanical and metanarrative sense.
@chimeraAmbition OFF, his contributions to the OFF remake soundtrack are genuinly straight ass and made me despise his fandom and find him as nothing more than a grifter. Before? He was fine. No Klepaki or van den Bos. But after that Showing at OFF and the UT kids dickriding it? HOOOO lol no
@DrAwesomeV2 To be fair. it was rather noticeable earlier on before the series became the binding of jax exclusivly and not how everyone suffers and sucks shit in the pastel matrix
@sapphicfunbun Episode 7 is the most nothing burger for characters until the last second where finally it remembered it had to push the characters along so had jax and caine do like one thing. could have removed episode 7 and just started at EP 8 where caine just stops thinking right or somethn
@t8peworm Legit throw a dart and any minor supporting character with some actual presense will find themselves losing all setup and becoming the same sacherine sweet pea for no buildup, no arc and no real rebuke to them as a character previously set up. Like legit its really bad.
