1 year ago we had just finished planting the In Momento’ border at @BBCGWLive. Today there are lots of lovely reminders in my own garden, really thriving, growing and being enjoyed every day! 😁🌴🌺
(look out for the ‘pale blue dot’ from a previous border hiding in there too!)
Lovely to get some update photos of this Garden of Hope at @YCA looking bright and beautiful in the sunshine. In its second year now, it’s full of lots of colour and scent, and being enjoyed by the local community! 🥰🤩🌸💚🌱
Very pleased to share that this morning I received my RHS Level 3 Certificate in Practical Horticulture having completed the assessments over the last year or so 💚
Also included are some shots of my favourite things in the garden today 😁🌱🌸
Happy (not so) New Year! 😁
Some days being a gardener is just pure joy, and spending today in a lovely rural garden as the sun blasted its way through the mist was one of those 🥰🌱
Been lovely to see this garden develop since designing & planting it earlier this year💚As a garden of hope it includes plants with particular meaning to those who use the centre as well as lots of colour - great to see still present in November! 🌼🌸🌺

Sometimes it’s about the small things - how close the delivery driver left the tonne of compost, vast amounts of Lotus biscuit boxes left over from local food projects, a ready stash of donated plants needing new homes & of course, fab people to help put it all together!! 🥰💚🌱
#TBT to Cath Fletcher’s Beautiful Border at the Special Edition
In Momento by @FletchHort was all about the power of plants gardening to be a fun, indulgent, experimental experience.

A recently planted up garden 💚 I’ve worked closely with the clients over a few months to develop these new border layouts and planting plans, which also allows space for annual flowers and seasonal veg to be planted throughout the borders.
A very enjoyable job👍🌸🌱💚
I’ve had a very nice few days work recently helping to tidy up this area of community planting in @welshhousefarm, taking me back to where I started on my horticultural journey as a volunteer about 5 years ago! 🤩💚🌱

#BBCGWLive@BBCGWLive I loved the weathered steel screens on “Seed to Flower” by Jayne Probyn. The border is inspired by the @OakTFarmConcert Project in Staffordshire which provides training and supported occupation for adults with learning disabilities, in a rural environment
#BBCGWLive@BBCGWLive “In Momento” designed by @FletchHort represents a quiet corner of a small garden & includes lush tropical planting. I first met Cath at RHS Chatsworth and I always enjoy talking to her about her community gardening activities, screen artwork by @fuzzy_concept
