i believe in re-reading and re-watching your favourite books & movies at different stages of your life. the plot never changes, but your perspective does.
WHAAT 😭 the director asked #gongmyoung "you're not embarrassed when you're kissing #shinhaesun but you're embarrassed when you're hugging her from behind" so i guess hugging her is more embarrassing for him 🤭 he's really just like kijun

I loved it, too. Inah clearly needs time to heal from her past and feel secure enough to think bout marriage. It's a slow and steady process of putting in efforts. It's going to take some time. And kijun, on the other hand, is the anchor she needs to feel safe and loved.

When the casting news of this drama dropped and they called it an adult office romance. I didn’t know what to expect.
This drama delivered everything a true romcom should. It’s been so long I watched a romcom that stayed through to its flavor from beginning to end. No childhood connection trope, no murder mystery, no unnecessary misunderstandings, no breakup to boost the plot, no terminal sickness, no white van. Just sweet storytelling and romance. Like this is peak romcom.
I was not the biggest fan of casting Shin Haesun and Gong Myung but boy I was so wrong. This has become one of my favorite Shin Haesun pairings. While Haesun’s role here is something she can easily do in her sleep, Gong Myung held his ground against her acting from beginning to end. He’s so expressive and the comedy just rolls off from him effortlessly.
I enjoyed that they handle a new audit case every episode, this kept the plot refreshing from beginning to end. The audit cases delivered humor, but they also reflect what goes on in daily corporate life. The characters are so lovely! We see actual character development between the 1st episode and last episode. Although this started as enemies to lovers, the pacing was so fast, that we get enough time to move on from the angst and enjoy the romance.
I love how the male lead was written, a young man that was raised in the midst of sisters that knows exactly how to handle a nonchalant independent girl boss without coming off as corny. They really swapped the cliches on this one, she was the powerful one while he was her shaylaa 😂
Production was also solid. The OSTs are so sweet, and I love love the ending of the drama plus bonus points for giving us bloopers.
I wasn’t sure they were not going to ruin it so I waited until the very last episode to say this - romcom of the year for now and one of my favorite office romcom dramas ever.
