@zara_praise @HamskyHbb Marvel Comic’s first Captain Marvel (they stole the name from a character made by Carl Burgos for a different comic) was Mar-Vell, the man in that picture.

He was a Kree soldier who trained the half-Kree Carol Danvers, the current Captain Marvel.
