@5HeadAsshole@Aberrantyrannus@gnrtvty@thejustinvolz@OpenAI I mean it could just be a subscription or something, but there’s a way to do it ethically with some work. Maybe more like, you pay each time you generate a world with a certain company’s assets, if not the subscription.
@scrotumnose@0xdanky@OpenAI It may be weird and dystopian but we probably will be. That doesn’t mean it’ll be the main form of entertainment, but there absolutely will be full length AI movies within the next few years.
Introducing Sora, our text-to-video model.
Sora can create videos of up to 60 seconds featuring highly detailed scenes, complex camera motion, and multiple characters with vibrant emotions.

Prompt: “Beautiful, snowy Tokyo city is bustling. The camera moves through the bustling city street, following several people enjoying the beautiful snowy weather and shopping at nearby stalls. Gorgeous sakura petals are flying through the wind along with snowflakes.”
@5HeadAsshole@Aberrantyrannus@gnrtvty@thejustinvolz@OpenAI You can make it paid! Maybe like, pay per asset. For example, if you want to have Disney assets in your AI worlds, or anything from a specific artist/company, you can pay to do so. Nothing stopping a software from scanning what you’re creating and asking for payment per creation
@5HeadAsshole@Aberrantyrannus@gnrtvty@thejustinvolz@OpenAI Generative AI like this has only been public a couple years. Imagine what it can do in 10. Likely more than what you just described. It’s already capable of writing code and generating 3D objects. Put those together and you have a basic game/interactive experience.
