🚨 ~$6M in wstETH drained from a vault on Base this morning.

Nobody has named the protocol yet.

6 withdrawals in 17 minutes. The first one was 1 token.

Aave was the exit. The hole was in the vault's own permissions.

A new contract got added to the whitelist, borrowed aBaswstETH through the vault, sent the aTokens out, redeemed into clean wstETH.

How it got whitelisted is still unconfirmed.

Then at 09:27 the attacker test-routed 1 wstETH through Lido's Base to Ethereum bridge. That route carries a 7 day window.

→ 1,783.067 wstETH gone
→ 0.0007 left in the vault
→ 7 days before anything bridged lands

Attacker : 0x0B51…B034

The money is still on Base and still visible.

Nobody has stood up to say whose vault it was.
