A rare photo of a Boeing B-52 in formation with a Convair B-36. After WWII, technology progressed rapidly. The B-36 therefore had a relatively short service life. The same was anticipated for the B-52. By the 1960s, options were already being explored.

Shown here is a 1947 Piper J-3 Cub, doing an engine run-up. This particular J-3 is modified with PA-22 elevators, and a metal propeller. Almost 20,000 were built decades ago, and many still fly to this day.

Footage of a Pitcairn PA-36 Autogiro. Despite the impressive efforts to rack up more sales via various promotions, this type was not produced in quantity:
Never before published photos of WWII fighter pilot De Lamar Jensen, with a P-51C (later F-6C), serial 44-10911. These were taken in November of 1945, at Kirtland Field. Jensen was kind enough to share his entire collection of aircraft photos. More to come!
An extremely rare Custom Flight North Star. It looks like a Piper PA-18 Super Cub, but it's a kit plane with numerous structural modifications. Not very many kits of this aircraft have been sold, and even fewer actually fly!
Filmed 17 July 2024.
Miss Helen, one of the extant P-51Ds, is filmed here doing an engine run-up at IWM Duxford. This same plane can briefly be seen in the 1990 movie 'Memphis Belle' in a green-over-gray livery sporting the name 'Miss L.'
