Just another day flying @AmericanAir...push back only to return back to gate with a mechanical issue...who's doing good status matches these days? This is becoming ridiculous with no recourse or compensation.
I swear the nightmares never end with @AmericanAir...we land at ORD from DFW and now we're sitting in the plane for going on 30min because there is no gate open and a broken AA plane at our assigned gate...Can't make this up! #ORD#AmericanAirlines@USDOT@SecDuffy
Another day, more issues with @AmericanAir...first flight I paid for WiFi that didn't work the whole time, with no way to get a refund (transfered to 3 different live chats and no one could help) and now delayed from DFW to ORD...it isn't IF anymore it's WHEN you have issues...
This is why I refuse to take anything but direct flights with @AmericanAir anymore...flight delayed 45min and counting without a plane in sight...how could you possibly make any connections on an airline run like this. Am I the outlier? Is this an #ORD issue?
@AmericanAir@AmericanAir Still no plane...no updates... supposedly departing in 20min but anyone who travels regularly knows that's not possible...at this rate I'm fearful the crew is gonna time out next and compound this further.
@AmericanAir It's not your fault faceless social media manager...I just hope there is accountability for this poor management and communication. To have this be the rule and not the exception these days without any recourse is becoming comical.
@AmericanAir Accurate departure times seem to be a thing of the past...still says leaving in 30min with no plane at the gate...if it is going to take 45min to fix...delay it 45min...not 10, 15, 15... indefinitely.
@AmericanAir That's all fine and good (we love a safe and we'll maintained plane), but maybe you should have your gate agents communicate more accurate information and realistic ETAs. All we have been told multiple times is "The plane is sitting in the hanger and needs to be brought out".
