Dudes taking fumos into battle like its a battle standard of the olden days. Having it seized by the enemy would be a stain on the honor for a regiment
Alleged footage published by an American soldier shows HIMARS missile launches against Iran during the recent US-Iran โRamadan warโ โฆ from a neighboring country.
Considering past experiences, this is likely Kuwait.
@kozamli Funnily enough, it's diehard Iran supporters in western countries that are the most upset about Iranian infrastructure not being totally obliterated by the US
@DerArschloch They don't have a favorite race horse to root for in the region, and they also deal with heavily militarized non-state actors (drug cartels) all the time as well
@DerArschloch I imagine the recently strengthened pact between India and Israel is a large part of why they're finally gonna take Afghanistan's proxy war seriously
The destruction of a school in Waziristan is tragic and deeply disturbing. Civilian spaces, especially schools, should never become targets.
The Pakistani military had reportedly been using this school as a command center for over a year and planning and coordinating operations from within a civilian facility.
Turning schools into military sites violates the spirit of international humanitarian norms and puts civilians and infrastructure at risk.
The Taliban then targeted it with a VBIED to strike military personnel and the school was destroyed in the process.
When civilian spaces are militarized, they become battlefields. Responsibility in such cases does not lie with one side alone since using protected sites for military purposes carries consequences.
