Hi! I was just offered the job of secondary induction coordinator. I’d like two pieces of feedback from you if you would!
1) For those familiar with induction programs: what does your program look like
2) For anyone: what did you want to know your first year teaching?
DMs open!
@flippingwithjoy @collsphysistry@FlippingPhysics Sadly no, not for that portion of #FTNE19. A couple of Friday's webinar conversations happened on platforms that do not easily record the interaction. That's another puzzle to resolve for future similar events!
Hey @FlipTechNE friends. I have learned that, while EDpuzzle does not currently support changing video speeds, there is a Chrome extension that does that https://t.co/oQO3YdJisQ I've tested it & it works. EDpuzzle does say they are working on adding the feature in the future...
@heyitsrob53 Now that we have seen this model be successful, the Flipped Learning Network will likely organize similar free or low-cost events on a local basis in the next few months. If it had been a total disaster, then we'd never speak of it again 😏
@heyitsrob53 For logistical and financial reasons, last month we canceled the typical conference and morphed FTNE to a "workshop/retreat" of less than 20 educators who had been selected as session presenters. There was no admission fee, because this was a different & more intimate gathering.
Saturday from 10:30-12 we relocate to the historical Durant-Kenrick House to host "LIVE FROM FLIPTECH": a webinar + #flipclasschat to connect #FTNE19 with the rest of the world.
Attendees include @flippingwithjoy @bakerhhhs @KtBkr4@MickieGibbs2@PhilipPulley How about you? [4/4]
#FTNE19 is still happening this week: June 26th-28th
It has morphed from a conference to a *workshop* with experienced #flipclass educators from all over: Colombia, Illinois, California, and even Rhode Island!
Together we will discuss flipping, #blendedlearning, and more! [1/4]
On Friday, the whole crew of #FTNE19 participants will meet in my school's library for a series of discussions including a jigsaw activity and a "Roundtable Roundrobin" of videoconferences with @MrsStephenson3 @collsphysistry@JJBackeberg@cjcrawcooper [3/4]

Hi there @PearDeck! This #CUEBOLD session looks awesome. We would love to get you connected with our #FTNE19 flipping conference in Massachusetts next month (where @MrsBarnett_Tchr is a featured presenter)!
DM is open anytime if you're interested!
