Another 400 run thriller on Day 2 of Cricket Week.

A fine Hashmi 💯 anchored 202-6, but a maiden club 50 for Taylor Bratt looked to have secured victory for the hosts. A pair of suicidal run outs in the final over left the Otters 4 short of victory!

The 4s batted first away at OAs and were in plenty of bother early on.

A recovery helped post 145 with 3+ overs unused.

A lack of detail however 8 wickets were taken in the chase so we must have stood a chance at some point 🤷‍♂️, but succumbed by 2 wickets.

If the 2s batting was disappointing, words fail with the 3s!

5-21 from young Toby Wileman highlighted WGC being knocked over for just 125.

Another unnecessary rush as our batting folded for a measly 112 with endless overs to spare 🙄

The 2s will be disappointed with their efforts on the road at Hertford.

The seamers were expensive before the spinners pulled things back, but a 230 chase will always test a young team.

Despite some good positions, no-one could go on and 169 a/o was not ideal

A great Prem win for the 1s at THV as we finally beat Hertford as bat dominated ball on a fine pitch.

The oppo were inserted & posted 272-8 with wickets shared.

Blake 🎸 then took over with 149 from just 114 balls 😲, well supported by Nabs (84) as we win with 11+ overs unused.

The 4s recorded a much needed win last week in RD11W and will need some more in the final 6 weeks.

Today a trip to OAs who are going well - no requirement for the Summers run machine so must be a winning squad!

Today on Smith’s Meadow, important not to slip up against the only other 3rd XI in the division. A week 4 repeat would be ideal.
