No wasted time, straight path from Turkey. Strength, respect for the troops, and American excellence on full display.
For a while, we thought New York City’s @Macys fireworks would be canceled. Storm clouds rolled in, lightning flashed, and everyone waited for the final decision. Then they started the show 30 minutes early. It was the perfect call. Absolutely incredible. 🇺🇸 Happy Birthday USA!

🇺🇸🇮🇷 US Launches New Strikes on Iran: Escalation Continues
Early this morning on July 9, the United States carried out another series of airstrikes against Iranian military targets. According to CENTCOM, approximately 90 targets were hit, including air defense systems, missile and drone storage facilities, and coastal infrastructure and logistics sites in southern Iran (areas around Bushehr, Chabahar, Bandar Abbas, and others).
This marks the second consecutive day of active strikes. The day before, President Trump stated that the ceasefire is “over.”
US position:
The strikes are in response to Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz (including tankers). The US accuses Tehran of violating previous agreements and threatening international shipping.
Iran’s response:
Iran reported strikes on US military bases and strategic centers in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar. Tehran describes the US actions as a violation of the ceasefire and continued aggression.
Current situation:
• The Strait of Hormuz remains an extremely tense zone (a critical route for a significant portion of global oil supplies).
• Oil prices have already risen in reaction.
• The world is waiting for further statements from Trump and Iran’s next moves.
The situation is developing very rapidly. The ceasefire that had held for several weeks after the previous round of escalation has effectively collapsed.
Question of the day:
How far will this escalation go? Will the sides return to negotiations, or is the region heading toward a new round of direct confrontation?
I’ll continue monitoring updates and keeping you informed.
What are your thoughts on these developments?

Charlie Kirk's widow and parents say they weren't allowed to see key evidence during the preliminary hearing for the man accused of killing the Turning Point USA founder.
In a new court filing, they argue that crime victims have the legal right not just to be in the courtroom, but to actually see the evidence that's presented in open court.
Charlie's widow, Erika Kirk, is asking a Utah judge to make sure everyone legally allowed in the courtroom can see evidence as it's shown during the rest of the preliminary hearing for the man accused of killing her husband.
She's also asking the court to show again the exhibits that were admitted during the first three days of the hearing but were never displayed publicly.
The filing warns that limiting public access to evidence could fuel speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding Kirk's assassination and undermines confidence in the justice system.
Iran reports new strikes as Jordan says it intercepted missiles from Tehran. US military says it hit 90 targets along Iran's coastline overnight.
