Islington was painted red today, as generations of fans lined the streets to celebrate Arsenal men’s team winning the Premier League for the first time in 22 years, and the women’s team clinching the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup 🏆

The whole borough will come together to celebrate @Arsenal winning the Premier League title, and the flag is flying over Islington Town Hall

To prevent anti-social behaviour a dispersal zone is in place from 3pm today until the end of Sunday. This gives officers the power to ask people to leave an area for 48 hours.
To support preparations, the Met and @Arsenal are asking supporters not to gather at the stadium this evening as this could delay essential safety checks and impact the delivery of the parade.
