@BowTiedPeptide Got my first batch out after 36 hours using half and half. It's got a very slight cheesy aroma, consistent thick-ish texture and tastes pleasant, though different from commercial yogurt I'd buy.
Why "immediately separate 2 tbsp/quart"? Can I just save 2 tbsp from the bottom.
@BowTiedPeptide I've got my first batch fermenting in a luvele. Thanks for all the help. I just used the l. reuteri which luvele sold.
But assuming the first batch turns out ok, can I save a quarter of it, throw a bio-k or yakult into the next slurry, and use that to make another batch?
@BowTiedPeptide I noticed the recipe from Luvele says to hold the temperate at 82C for 2-10m as the first step. But I didn't see that here. I'm making yogurt for the first time after reading about it here and trying to figure it all out.
Can you post more start to finish yogurt recipes?
How dumb are centralized politicians and shills like Bill Gates? None of them understand the physics of photosynethesis and how they fit into evolutionary design
The tasks you’re delaying are not as hard as you convince yourself they are.
Once you get started everything goes smoothly.
It’s fear that’s holding you back.
Not the difficulty of what’s at hand.
Everything is easy if you set your mind to it.
Simply.
Get.
It.
Done.
Whether a teacher is useful or not depends on the context of where the student currently is on this scale.
To a young man on the verge of suicide at level 50, the teachings of Huang Po or Ramana Maharshi calibrating at 700+ are not going to be useful.
But show them Andrew Tate, and maybe they'll become angry enough that they start to take action.
Then maybe they'll start to desire material possessions out of pride.
Then gain the courage to take responsibility for their life.
Then accept the nature of their existence.
Then become curious about reality and begin to sharpen their intellect.
Then find that Love is the essence of their being.
Then begin the quest for Enlightenment.
THEN the teachings of Huang Po and Ramana Maharshi become useful.
Context is everything.
The wealthiest guy i’ve ever know said something one time that i’ll always remember.
Now it didn’t seem perspective shattering at the time but looking back this is major alpha
Xanny so here’s what we do. First I build the company up to 3 million revenue. Then I fire myself and sit on the bored and hire a new CEO to take the company from 3 to 5 million revenue. The fire that CEO and replace him with the guy to take the company to 10 million. The fire and hire 10-20. Then 20-30. Then 30-50. And so on.
See i’m not the guy that brings the company to a 50 million in revenue. I don’t want that job. I just hire the guy to bring it to 50 while I enjoy life haha”
See he separates himself from the headache and day to day while he jets around the world doing whatever he wants Hint it’s lots of mansion/yacht parties and clubs where he drops 100k a night. Yes. In one night.
He manages just 1 person. The CEO.
He did this over 10+ times. That’s 10+ IPOs.
Now he still had to build the company up to a level that warrants hiring a CEO. After his first exit he only bought companies.
Take what you want from this. But how I interpret it is: Don’t try to do everything. There’s someone better at certain jobs than you.
You DON’T need to be the boss. Manage in the background. Get rid of your childish egotistical need to “run” the company.
And ultimately if you try to do it all you won’t reach your potential.
I’m attempting to do this now with all my biz ventures. Just took a couple years for it to “click”
Once implemented my stress levels will go down and inevitably my revenue will go up.
