Kristen Welker asked for evidence.
Trump attacked the media.
She asked again.
🔥 We need more reporters willing to keep pressing when powerful people refuse to answer simple questions.
The press isn’t supposed to be popular with politicians.
It’s supposed to hold them accountable.
This is a devastating interview.
Scott Pelley tells the NYT that Bari Weiss directly put a “thumb on the scale” for Trump over the killing of Renee Good.
Here’s his explanation of exactly what happened.
Imagine spending months claiming you’re going to make government more efficient…
…only to get outperformed by a democratic socialist mayor.

One of those things you could watch a thousand times and still not fully believe you're seeing it happen.
A 3D model of the solar system, driven by the sun's gravitation pull.
The solar system does not look like a flat spinning mobile. The sun hold 99.8% of the mass in the solar system and it's gravity keeps every planet , asteroid and comet locked in orbit around it.

Graham Platner: “We should never tax someone into poverty. We should also still raise taxes on billionaires and corporations. Bezos wants us to think if you raise his individual taxes, that money isn’t going to pay for all the things you want. That’s why we’re not raising it just on you. We’re raising it on all 930 billionaires in the US. It’s why we’re also not just going after your income, but the wealth as well. The wealth they sit on, the wealth they never actually bring into the real world so they never pay capital gains on it, but they borrow against it so they can have liquidity. Of course Jeff Bezos is gonna tell us if we raise his taxes things won’t get better. He doesn’t want us to raise his taxes. He’s a greedy person. That makes perfect sense to me that he would say that. He’s just entirely wrong and self-serving”
Approaching the Pillars of Creation
The Pillars of Creation are part of the Eagle Nebula, located in the constellation Serpens, 7,000 light-years away. Composed of molecular hydrogen and interstellar dust, they are the birthplace of new stars. The leftmost pillar is approximately 4 light-years tall.
His internet has been slow for 6 months. So, he paid Comcast to upgrade his tier.
Speeds got worse.
He called Comcast again. They blamed his router. He bought a new one. Still slow.
He called a third time. They sent a technician out. The tech ran a speed test from inside the modem and said:"Speeds are fine on our end. Must be your devices."
A neighbor who works in IT came over the next weekend with his laptop.
He looked at the router for two minutes, opened the admin panel, and pointed at four settings on the screen.
"Comcast pushed a firmware update last year. They enabled all four of these silently. This is why your internet is slow. This is why every Comcast customer's internet got slower around the same time."
Here's exactly what he found and turned off. 🧵
Jennifer Welch: “Bari Weiss is a prostitute. The Ellison family purchased her and said we want you to propagandize all day every day. The big interview she scored was with Erika Kirk who clearly needs to be in a mental institution. Boycott CBS. Boycott Bari Weiss”
Campos: While I want to thank CBS news for funding this generous gift towards my education, I want to acknowledge how the recent direction of the outlet stains the legacy of Mike Wallace, the namesake of this scholarship.
If at any time you hesitate to utter the word genocide or remain silent in the face of blatant lies, remember to ask yourself: who is this for?
The show Robert Pattinson is playing in Primetime ended because someone shot himself on camera.
To Catch a Predator ran on Dateline NBC from 2004 to 2007. Twelve episodes. Chris Hansen would confront men who had arrived at a sting house expecting to meet a minor, the cops would arrest them outside, and the country watched it all unfold in primetime.
In November 2006, the production set up in Murphy, Texas. A sitting Assistant District Attorney named Louis Conradt had chatted with a decoy posing as a 13-year-old. He never showed up at the sting house.
Police went to his home the next day with NBC cameras following. He shot himself as officers entered his front door.
The footage was never aired. His sister sued NBC for wrongful death and the case was settled confidentially.
The district attorney refused to prosecute any of the 25 men caught in the Murphy sting. The show was cancelled within months.
What I find clarifying about this casting is what makes it a Pattinson role specifically. Hansen spent three seasons confronting 256 men and ended one of them in his own living room. He has spent the eighteen years since defending the show, relaunching versions of it, and watching the decoy actors call their own participation a stain on the soul.
The role is not the famous TV host. The role is a man trying to do public good through reality television, and discovering too late what the architecture costs.
Pattinson does this kind of part better than anyone working.
Just one day after ending "The Late Show" on CBS, Stephen Colbert returned to TV — to host a public access show with rocker Jack White in Monroe, Michigan.
Appearances by Jeff Daniels, Eminem and Steve Buscemi.
