I believe that most people would be better off making Traditional contributions instead of Roth.
Some exceptions:
1. People making too much to be eligible for the tax deduction
2. Retired people (Roth conversion time!)
3. Students working part time

PSA: Roth accounts are not tax free.
When you choose to put money into a Roth, you are choosing to pay your marginal (i.e. highest) income tax rate up front.
This is almost certainly not the best move to make if you're eligible for Traditional (tax deferred) contributions.
@inutfreely@granderojo@cremieuxrecueil But practically speaking, they have a boss who tells them what to do. They're not consulting with judges for their day to day work.
And the boss at the top is the chief executive. The executive power is vested in the president; that's his job.
@williamevanl@PunkyCovfefe I think where I first saw it described (at least in an easy to digest way) was the Mad Fientist blog, which is also a good resource for early retirement info in general, particularly taxes.

@1exi If they're the "put a chick in it and make it lame and gay" team, then firing them seems appropriate so the rest of the developers can focus on the important stuff.
@Viztrit@yacineMTB penis is the correct analogy here.
he has two hands, but only one penis, with which he will metaphorically fuck "the swamp" into submission as it is being drained of corrupt bureaucrats
@Ranked90 Water is the easy one
Maybe water mixed with protein powder for #2
Honorable mentions:
- chocolate milk for special occasions when I have calories to spare
- hot water flavored with dry plant bits when I have cold/flu symptoms
@shadydoorags As an old person who has dabbled over the decades, I've never watched it, but I've seen it mentioned enough over the years to at least recognize the character when this came up on X.
@inutfreely@granderojo@cremieuxrecueil Bureaucrats are not judicially aligned - they're aligned with what the boss tells them to do.
The damage to clean up has already been done, and Trump's attempt at swamp draining here is the clean up process.
@LegalDistortion@cremieuxrecueil Does the government not have rules prohibiting the use of government resources for personal use? If not, they should.
I think every corporation has a policy like that and I have to sit through corporate training about it every year.
@TArchcast Is peaking on a weekday pretty normal for a new release?
My first thought is to wait for a weekend at least to see if it picks up when people aren't working, but I'm a boomer with a day job.
@LeftismForU What's the logic here?
Hitler chilled in heaven for a year until God chose to reincarnate him as Trump to Make America Great Again after seeing where things were heading post-WW2?
Is that what the person is implying?
@jamalichaidani >NYC women
My understanding is that this is the opposite of easy mode, unless you're trying to have as many unpleasant first-and-last dates as possible.
@MoemonCollector @GiveMeBanHammer I don't remember Cold Steel 3 being especially bad either, but I've only played the Xseed / NISA localized stuff on Steam, so my sense for iffy localization might just be bad.
@ModernDayInves@GenXmillionaire It's less about flu susceptibility and more about USDA chicken genocide campaign susceptibility.
But yeah, the flu isn't stopping anyone from buying and raising chickens. Industrial egg laying is a different story when there's a financial incentive to kill all of your chickens.
@MoemonCollector @GiveMeBanHammer I enjoyed Daybreak 1 despite some sketchy TL.
TBD for Daybreak 2. Might look into fan TL, but for 1 I think it didn't play well with some of the NISA PC technical changes, which are quite good.
Localization aside, PH3 consistently does great work.
@LegalDistortion@cremieuxrecueil If they want to disagree when they're not working that's fine, but if they act in contradiction while on the clock they should be fired.
Whether someone is working or not is pretty black and white when you're an employee with business hours.
@granderojo@cremieuxrecueil Any fighting on what the law means should be between the judges and the executive branch, not within the executive branch.
And the president being the one making the calls obviously makes more sense than letting millions of bureaucrats decide for themselves.
